You can probably tell by now that boredom is setting in – it’s getting on for a week now since I switched the email off and headed on over here to Spain. I’m fine during the day and I’ve taken it upon myself to do a bit of learning but ultimately I settle down with something to eat and a glass of wine and…. without SKY, there is almost nothing worth watching on TV. This reminds me why I occasionally campaign for the abolition of the TV licence because I can count on one hand the programs on TV that are (a) worth watching and (b) aren’t so old the actors are dead already.
I’ve spent some time recently back in the UK developing the best technique for displaying rooms for our holiday rental cottage in Bellingham. So I thought I’d give it a shot in the cave, using just the normal low-energy lighting (as that’s all I have available). So, here it is – well, the downstairs living room anyway. The cave has 3 floors of course but you can’t put all of that in one shot. For the technically minded, This took 10 original images all of which were taken on an iPhone.
It’s 8am on Friday, there is NO light outside yet, it’s 5 degrees out there, but then there are no clouds either (haven’t seen any all week) and supposedly by lunchtime it’ll be up to 16c or so. I’m going to have to break down and buy some of the disgusting milk they sell locally (fresh milk is not that popular here) for my coffee. I tried coke but it’s just not the same. Got TomTom back on the phone, properly updated… only took several hours!! Hopefully Tony the builder will be here shortly to fix the gates, I’ve a little paint touch-up to do and a quick vacuum and I’ll be all set for tomorrow’s round trip to St Javier.
