Had a nice quiet day today (other than cowering from the sun due to having bright red shoulders for the second day running). Spend the morning sorting out the WIFI for the TV and this afternoon upgrading the wireless controller network in the cave (it’s still no-where near perfect).
This afternoon met our new neighbour who introduced me to the Phantom Quadcoptor. The units feature WIFI for video and image recording… and thanks to GPS and built in gyro they can find their way home in the event they run out of range. In use I noted the unit was steady as a rock when hovering in the air.
The photo below shows our cave (I’ve got the pink shirt on) to the upper left.
The photo below is taken from a much greater height – our cave is down at the bottom. Lovely day out there at around 30c mid-afternoon.
