What’s this about?
This is the Spanish website for Peter and Maureen Scargill. When in Spain we live in Galera in Andalusia (for clarify that is the English spelling - Mid-Spain they spell it Andalucia and pronounce it "And-a-loo-thee-a").

We've had a home in Spain for something like 9 years or more and now we're spending a lot more time here.

If you're familiar with what3words (if you're not now you soon will be) we live at dossier.bath.sawn

Find out more about this by reading through the blog entries, menu-accessible pages and archives if you're interested! Welcome to Peter and Maureen's Spanish website.

Wipes

Well, it looks as though the initial magic has gone… we’re not back in the UK for more than a couple of months and some presumably local wipes have been in and burgled the cave!  Sadly I never did get the floodlight up and the camera last operated at 10.30pm last night but it was too dark to get anything, so I’m reckoning they broke in at around 10.10pm (Sunday 16th Nov) – if anyone saw any strangers around at that time please DO contact the local police – or us. Apparently they managed to get through the door (the weakest spot).

Next time we’re there a remote controlled foghorn is going up that they’ll hear in the next town – I’m a quick learner if nothing else. The police of course will do nothing – pretty much like the UK police, it’ll be crime number and insurance – the usual. By the time we get there I’m hoping local gossip has identified the culprits…  if you’re one of the culprits and you’re reading this – I suggest emigrating to the far end of the planet – now – because we’re planning on paying you a visit.
